Comenius Day
5th June we celebrated
in our school Comenius Day. Class Vc prepared a short artistic program remembered
the most important information of our partners and tasks connected with our
project Wide Open Window. The famous people from the partners’ countries such
as Queen Elizabeth II, James Bond, Antoni Gaudi, Erno Rubik, William Shakespeare
and Björk appeared on the scene. We could also see our students dancing English
waltz and singing the song of Shakira. At the end all our students with partners
flags sang the song 'The Waving Flag'. Leaving the room, the students had the
opportunity to try dishes from our partners.

The Earth Day
Our students prepared pictures about the planet to celebrate The Earth Day .In their works the young
children showed the
most beautiful and the most
interesting corners of our planet. The older
students put our attention to the danger of
inappropriate human behavior for the Earth. A group of students prepared also the concert of the environmental songs and the presentation about nature.

Healthy Food Day in Poland
On 28th January we had in our school Healthy Food Day. We promoted healthy eating among children. As part of the "a breakfast class" all students in the school at the same time ate lunch in their classes.
After the meal, students watched the presentation about the role and importance of the second breakfast for children.
All students signed the Declaration about healthy diet. At the end of classes they learnt about the benefits of drinking water and students sang the song "Mom, Dad, I prefer water"
During the long break we promoted eating fruits. Students could taste different kinds of fruits.
The last part of the Healthy Food Day was the announcement of the results of competition for a happy, healthy sandwich.

The 22nd grand finale of GOCC
Every year our school take part in the Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. This year the national final is on 12th January but in our school in rose money on 10th January. This year we are raising funds towards medical equipment for children’s emergency services, as well as the provision of decent health care for the elderly
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is the foundation which aim is to work in the field of health protection by saving patients’ and especially young patients’ life and supporting their treatment. Additionally, the Foundation promotes health and medical prevention.

The star for animals
Before Christmas our students don’t forget also about homeless animals. They took a part in the charitable campaign ‘The star for animals’. Students collected food , beddings and toys for dogs and cats. For collected money students bought more tins with food for animals.
Our students visit people the Community Home
Every year before Christmas students grades 0-3 prepare beautiful Christmas decorations and give them to the people in Community Home. They prepare the Christmas play for them and wish them Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Students and old people also sing carols together

Sportsman in our school.
The famous local sportsmen visited our school : volleyball player: Patrycja Gądek, basketball player Paweł
Murza and footballer Patryk Małecki from Wisły Kraków team.
They talked with our students, signed autographs and gave them some presents and free tickets for the match.
