The star for animals

Before Christmas our students don’t forget also about homeless animals. They took a part in the charitable campaign ‘The star for animals’. Students collected food , beddings and toys for dogs and cats. For collected money students bought more tins with food for animals.

Our students visit people the Community Home

Every year before Christmas students grades 0-3 prepare beautiful Christmas decorations and give them to the people in Community Home. They prepare the Christmas play for them and wish them Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Students and old people also sing carols together

Food donation

The Icelandic students have now held fundraising to support families in need before Christmas. Bingo was held in the school and lot of people in our neighborhood attended.  Our students gave the money to the church because in Iceland people in need can ask the church for help.

At Joan Sanpera i Torras we have started a food collection. All the food will go to our local charity Amics del Xiprer.

Sportsman in our school.

The famous local sportsmen visited our school : volleyball player:  Patrycja Gądek, basketball player Paweł Murza and footballer Patryk Małecki from Wisły Kraków team. 
They talked with our students, signed autographs and gave them some presents and free tickets for the match.

Independence Day

11th November is the Polish Independence Day. We also celebrate it in our school.

4th Project meeting at Joan Sanpera i Torras

At Joan Sanpera i Torras we are all set and ready to receive our Comenius guests.

Loft Cakes

500 g powdered sugar
2 ¾ tbsp cocoa powder
1 teaspoon hjartarsalt
1 egg

Method:
Mix together dry ingredients, place the egg together and knead. Put the dough in the air grinders cake offset (down smooth and fluted top) or just roll into narrow strips and slice them about 5 inches long.
Bake the cakes in the middle of the oven at 200 ° C for 10-12 minutes, or until the lift

Ingredients:

You will need the following ingredients in the recipe for cookies súkkulaðibita:

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon bread soda
1 teaspoon salt

Method:

Margarine, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Swished light .. Mix dry ingredients and stir gently out gradually. Put dough with a good basis on a plate with baking paper, use a teaspoon. Bake cookies at 170-200 degrees for 5-10 minutes.

The first day of the New School Year at Joan Sanpera

It was the fist day at Joan Sanpera today. After the long summer holiday it was nice to to meet our school friends and our teachers again. We wish all our Comenius friends a Very Happy New School Year.

The beginning of the school year 2013/2014

On 2nd September we started the new school year 2013/2014.

 Our students from Upper Primary visited the laboratories and departments of a College where they experimented and listened to lectures on up-to-date topics.
