On the 5th and 6th
of June the 21 years old international FC Barcelona roller hockey
player Xavier Barroso visited our school.
Xavier Barroso has won the World championship, European Championship and the 2013-14 league.
He worked with the Year 4
and Year 6 groups and told them the main characteristics of roller
hockey. He also showed them some of the sports clothes and materials
needed to play this sport.
After asking him some
very interesting questions the students practiced the basic
techniques of hockey.
At the end of the session
Xavier Barroso signed lots of autographs and all the class groups had
a picture taken with him.
